MARK ROBERTS

Mark grew up in Manchester, Vermont. His first interest in photography was sparked when he found a camera in his parents garage, cleaned it up and took it to Europe for a ski camp in Switzerland. While at the University of Vermont in 1990 he started taking photography classes. He transferred to Montana State University in 1992 and declared a double major in Photography and Architecture. In 1994 one of his most influential professors, Rudi Deitrich said, “It would be amazing to see what you could do if you concentrated on just photography.” Mark took his advice and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Photography from Montana State University.

Mark enjoys golf, skiing, hiking and incorporates his photography into these activities and more. Mark gives credit for his successes to the support of his family ~ Especially his mother and 100 year old grandmother who love hearing about his adventures out west.
