TRAVIS ANDERSEN

Travis Andersen – I feel very lucky to have lived in the Bozeman area since 1990. Honestly, I really can’t imagine living anywhere else. My love for this area, and the Bridger Mountains in particular, began the first time I drove up the canyon to ski at Bridger Bowl in December 1989. There is just something special about those mountains. In the years that have followed, I’ve spent countless hours in the Bridgers; either skiing, hiking, biking or shooting photos. During the past few years, I have focused much of my attention to a project of capturing panorama images of the mountains around Bozeman at various times and places. My goal has been to create a series of photographs and posters that speak to the people who spend time here and love this area and it’s visual splendor.
