In Laden, we look at What Women Carry. Stories of burden as baskets and bales. Sometimes we sit alongside what we carry. Sometimes we buckle under its weight. At times we hold it like a treasure close to our bellies. Alone and together, from dawn to dusk, the labor of women carries on with fortitude in these paintings.
